The green and digital transitions must happen in parallel, but how?
We would like to inform you about a seminar that the Swedish Trade Federation invites you to on 19 December from 09:00 to 12:00. A morning seminar that will answer these questions by outlining the ongoing EU work to develop both the specific and technical requirements for developing digital product passports.
The seminar is primarily a physical event for Swedish Trade Federation member companies at the Swedish Trade Federation's premises in Stockholm, and you will get the best experience if you are on site. However, it will be possible to connect via Teams without being a member of Svensk Handel. It is worth noting that the seminar will be held in Swedish! Digital product passports are just the beginning of a necessary transition where the digital transition will be a precondition for the green one. At the same time, via the so-called Green Deal, virtually all new legislation coming from the EU in the next few years will require significant improvements in traceability and transparency in the supply chain.
The only way to achieve this is through extensive digitalization, including the collection and collation of both technical and sustainability data.
But how can companies prepare for this parallel transition in a way that both benefits their business and contributes to more sustainable supply chains? The seminar's ambition is to provide guidance and inspiration primarily to trade members but is relevant to all actors who want to make digital product passports and traceability a competitive and sustainable advantage.
Participation on-site is exclusive to members of the Swedish Trade Federation. Participation via Teams is open to everyone. From Blue Cromos, which also runs this site, digitalproductpassport.com, Lennart Strandberg, Business Relations and Chairman of SIS TK 639, will participate from Blue Cromos.
